Het nabijgelegen dorpje (Cenac) ligt aan de voet van de heuvel, op zo'n anderhalve kilometer afstand van het huis. Cenac beschikt over een kleine supermarkt. Vijf kilometer verder ligt het Middeleeuwse stadje Domme... uw bezoek meer dan waard.

Op 12 kilometer afstand ligt Sarlat, een schitterende stad met een heel oude kern. Daar zijn alle winkels gevestigd die u zich maar voor kunt stellen, dus ook alle grote supermarkten.

Maar ook in de andere omliggende dorpen en steden zijn veel bezienswaardigheden voorhanden. Om nog maar te zwijgen van al het natuurschoon en natuurlijk de Dordogne zelf.

Travelling down the hill you will find the rural village of Cenac. If you do not wish to turn to the supermarket for your day-to-day needs, the local shops and marketplace will provide you with fresh bread, vegetables, fruit and meat or fish. 

On the nearby hill you will find Domme, a medieval village which is well worth your visit. As is Sarlat, the nearest town, with its beautiful center and many festivals. There you will  also find every shop you can possibly think of, as well as huge supermarkets.

Last but not least... the other surrounding villages and towns. Also well worth visiting. And should you be more into 'nature'... the Dordogne of course is famous for its lovely landscapes of hills, rivers and meadows.
